JV Coach – Lady Wolves Volleyball

Renner MS has been my teaching home for the past three years, where I enjoyed teaching PE, and coaching volleyball and track. I have had the opportunity to build some amazing relationships with the students and athletes at Renner, and I cannot wait to continue to invest and witness their growth at Shepton. This year I am teaching ILeap at Shepton, and entering my first year of coaching junior varsity volleyball and high school track.

I received a Bachelors in Physical Education and Health from Williams Baptist University and I played four years of collegiate volleyball. I received the Champion of Character award, the NAIA Female athlete of the year, and broke the assist record while playing for Willaims.

I have an amazing husband Daniel Castro, and we welcomed our first baby Luna Gene Castro on March 29, 2022. Also, we have a cocker spaniel named Rupert! In my free time I like to read, listen to music, garden, and participate in outdoor activities.
